Aaron Blocker’s advocacy work originally began after receiving his Crohn’s disease diagnosis. As a way to meet others and provide support to those living with IBD, he created a Facebook page in 2010.
In 2017, Aaron received his Master of Science from Mississippi College in the Department of Biological Sciences and is currently working as a Data Analyst. Also, in 2017, Aaron was diagnosed with an extremely rare genetic metabolic bone disease called Hypophosphatasia.
Aaron is passionate about helping others understand some of the scientific concepts discussed in relation to Crohn’s and now Hypophosphatasia, as well as combatting hazardous pseudoscience that can harm other patients.
