Disease Specific Medical Conferences
Hello fellow advocates!!
I was wondering how many of you attend conferences related to your specific diseases? We want to be the best patient leader that we can. I think that includes attending conferences and other meetings where we can learn and network. I just attended a conference for several days in Arizona with the Oley Foundation. I found new contacts for health related issues as well as medical products…and friends!!
I have done so virtually. Sometimes its a circuit that is hard to become a part of. Unfortunately sometimes it's been difficult to get into conferences due to cost or time since we've been back to in person. It's definitely important though. ~Racquel~ team member 
Board meetings
quick question. How did you get onto a board? I have not been on any boards, as of yet, but I was invited to join a Clinical Advisory Committee.
