Do You Deal With Imposter Syndrome? Let's talk!

Hello everyone. There was recently a topic posted by Admin about dealing with Imposter Syndrome. It hit home. It's not something I freely talk about with others in real life since most probably wouldn't understand...or care to.
I believe having a Forum specifically focused on how this affects us would be beneficial for all. What do you think?

Personally, I deal with a variety of health issues..some visible, some not...everyday. When I start to write or talk about them, I find myself monitoring what I say because I realize there are many people with more serious afflictions. I feel like an Imposter dealing with the issue.

Does anyone else feel this way? If so...do you think a Forum would be a helpful way to openly discuss this issue?

Let me know by responding to this post.
Best of luck!

  1. Yes, I have Stage 4 lung cancer...for all intents and purposes, I shouldn't be here now or I should at least feel sick. It's been almost 6 years since diagnosis, my targeted therapy is working great and I'm functioning like nothing is wrong. I'm wracked with guilt when I see others in pain or having passed, but I know I resemble hope for others.

    1. Thanks so much for sharing your insightful story. It's refreshing to hear how well you are doing. You are providing hope to others, even those unable to share their stories for whatever reason. Keep up the great work.

    2. , I am so glad to hear that you are doing well. I understand the guilt. It's important to remember that you're not done. You're still here because you have something important to do. being hope for others is something significant because there is so little hope in this world. I'm sending love and light. - Warmly, Donna (Team Member)
