  1. How did I get started? That is interesting. I think it actually started when I started volunteering with a special needs camp as a sponsorship chair. That is when I started reaching out to different businesses. From there, it went to talking to people about the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life for many years. Then...I branched into stuff about my own chronic health issues. Some of my proudest moments were being interviewed for a local news station, being in the paper, getting Gastroparesis awareness proclamations from my mayor and being a part of different advocacy days with my state representatives.

    1. Love this question, this is a new journey for me as an advocate for the National MS Society. So, I hope to make more of a contribution not only at SNH but in my own community. Expanding my reach is scary but I’m ready to take on this awesome role as #msadvocte

    2. I have been attending Capitol Hill Day for several years. I advocate for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. I get to speak in front of representatives and share my experience. I loved doing this and believe I am making a difference.
