What do you plan to focus on in 2025?

The beginning of a new year is an excellent opportunity to reassess, reset, and reflect. This applies to various aspects of life such as advocacy, health, physical well-being, personal growth, emotional well-being, and career development. Instead of making a resolution, consider what you would like to focus on this year. Have you thought about your priorities for the upcoming year?

  1. I’m focusing on intentional growth in both my personal and professional life. I’m an RN, and one of my bigger goals this year is to start a clinic, something I’ve been planning for a while. As part of that process, I’ve been looking into what it takes to hire a medical director, which is a requirement in many states. I came across this resource that breaks it down well https://www.medicaldirectorco.com/medical-director-for-rn/ Beyond that, I’m working on setting boundaries to protect my emotional well-being and staying consistent with healthier habits. It’s less about major resolutions and more about steady, thoughtful progress.

    1. In 2025, I plan to focus on career growth, advocacy, and personal well-being. This includes advancing in my professional field, strengthening my impact in advocacy work, and maintaining a balanced, healthy lifestyle. What about you?

      1. While I am not a Patient Leader and have no intention of completing that particular badge (I'm 77, fellas, give me a BREAK), i have every intention of continuing to do what I was recruited to do: provide lively support for our community of fellow sufferers. In addition, given the current state of our unfortunately politicized healthcare system, I plan to stay au courant of the news as it pertains to said healthcare system and aware of the alternate ways of obtaining care for our communities. Stay safe out there, fellow PLwMS!

        1. Hey, as Don Marquis used to say about his main character, an old alley cat named Mehitabel, "there's a dance or two in the old dame yet!"

        2. , I'm glad to hear that! I love seeing you around! - Warmly, Donna (Team Member)
