Anyone dealt with Spirit name change policy recently?

I just realized there’s a small spelling error in my name on my Spirit Airlines ticket, and I’m a bit stressed about it 😬. I’ve been reading up on the Spirit name change policy, but the info online is kind of all over the place.

From what I understand, Spirit does allow minor name corrections (like typos) for free or a small fee — but not full passenger changes. Has anyone here gone through the process recently? How long did it take? Did you have to call or could you do it online?

I’d really appreciate if someone could share their experience or tips. Also wondering if it’s faster to deal with this at the airport if the flight is still a few days away.
