Do you know anyone with long Covid?

Hi! We're hoping to recruit someone living with long Covid to write about their experiences on our site. Ideally, this person would have a sizable social media following. Could this be you or someone you know? Please share anyone you might think fits this in the comments below! Long Covid has affected so many with chronic illness, and also caused many people to develop chronic illness after an infection. We think their stories are important to share!

  1. I have been living with Long COVID since 2021, and I am also a writer for Health Union. My sizable social media focuses on creating awareness for my medical conditions. Please, email me with more info.

    1. More and more I hear about others that are still affected by the long COVID. Thankfully no one that I have talked to is coping with anything life threatening. ~ Janet

      1. I had long Covid for months. My smell and taste buds are still off. Sometimes I’m unable to smell or taste. Sometimes the smell of frying grease can make me so nauseous. About the only things that I can tolerate then is cereal, later on. My husband has to let me know if foods or drinks still smell good, especially milk. Apparently, too often when I’m cooking, I tell my husband watch what’s cooking or better yet, turn the burner off while I use the bathroom. He tells me that I always do that. I mentioned it at a doctor appointment, he had no idea why I do that either. I wish I would lose weight with it.

        1. , that was my first symptom of COVID, and I, too, still have a very diminished sense of smell. I also experience the nausea with onions cook (which go into literally everything but dessert) and it used to be a smell I loved. It is frustrating. - Warmly, Donna (Team Member)
