This is such an important topic. we often talk about managing stressors in our communities. Yet, at times, like we have to navigate our health, navigating stressors are just as imperative. My biggest stress reduction tip is when I feel overwhelmed, I literally stop myself.... Take a few minutes to engage in grounding techniques, then go back with hopefully a fresh set of eyes and more centeredness. The other thing I do is schedule 1 full day per week where I completely disconnect. I know this is very hard thing to do when people have work, family, school obligations. In those instances, try to disconnect 1 day a week for a few hours. And when I say I "disconnect" I put my phone on "Do Not Disturb" I don't check email or social media and I literally do nothing but relax, listen to 8D audio music, watch a movie, go to the park or take a nap. While this may not work for everyone, this is one tool I use to reduce stress and burnout.
