Take A Deep Breath

The holiday season is a time where many different emotions can take the reigns of one's mental. From joy to sadness, there's often a combination of emotions associated with the actions one exudes.

With joy, we equate joy to the laughs and adventures with loved ones over the holidays. We never hesitate to talk about this emotion or illustrate it through actions. But with sadness/stress, we hide behind closed doors or put on a smiling face in hope to protect those surrounding us. There are many stressors that exist over the holidays and there's no one solution to help navigate them. From the weather to the loss of a loved one to family stressors, it can be overwhelming, especially if you don't communicate those feelings. Not to mention, social media can be a negative influence and stressor.

I just want to offer one help source, TAKE A DEEP BREATH. It sounds cliché, but it works, even if only a few moments. I don't know what the holiday season brings you, but I want to remind you to take every moment to just TAKE A DEEP BREATH. You will get through this season. Sending air hugs, love, and positive thoughts your way for a smooth holiday season!
