The Reality When You Live With a Rare Condition

The Reality of me living with a rare disease and what goes through my mind constantly.

I wake every morning with the same awful cramps in my stomach that painful I can't move some days. I'm 38 now and used to it.... actually..let's read that again shall we??? " I'm used to", "It's my normal" ...I think to myself "Why me"? Would you like to hear more? I'm new to writing so please be kind and let me know if you'd like to read more .

  1. , we're here anytime you'd like to share, and always interested in what you choose to share.

I hear you - it's said with grim resignation and acceptance, because fighting it somehow makes things worse - "I'm used to it", "it's my normal", that's inconceivable for others.

Thank you for being here and for wanting to share your story. We're always listening. - Warmly, Donna (Team Member)
